For over 30 years, Dr. Richard Marcus has helped senior executives navigate high-stakes leadership challenges with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Drawing on a rare blend of psychological insight and business acumen, Richard brings a calm, strategic presence to moments of complexity—whether that is a career crossroads, a team in transition, or the growing pressure of leading at the top.
Richard is more than a coach—he is a thinking partner, a sounding board, and a catalyst for meaningful change.

A Journey Rooted in Psychology. Refined in the Boardroom.
Richard began his career as a licensed clinical psychologist before founding and later selling a regional behavioral healthcare company. That experience sparked a shift from therapeutic settings to executive development, where the stakes and the impact were enterprise-wide.
Since then, Richard has coached hundreds of senior leaders across sectors—Fortune 1000 firms, healthcare systems, family-owned businesses, private equity-backed organizations, and large non-profits. For over two decades, he has led a successful independent practice and previously served as National Practice Leader for Executive Coaching at Manchester Inc.
He is currently an executive coach with the University of Pennsylvania and its Wharton School, where he works with MBA and Executive MBA students as well as participants in executive education programs.
A Thought Partner for Critical Moments
Richard’s coaching is not about quick fixes or cookie-cutter advice. It is about helping senior leaders align who they are with how they lead—and building the clarity and confidence to grow from that foundation.

What Richard Brings to the Table
Richard works best with leaders who are ready for real growth. Whether stepping into a new role, navigating succession, building high-performing teams, or simply facing the quiet weight of leadership stress, clients trust him to bring structure, clarity, and results.
